Everything you need to know about burns treatments and how they can help to improve the look of your skin.
For many women supple, smooth skin can hold one of the keys to body confidence. As a result burns sufferers can struggle to regain their positive self-image following an accident or injury that has left their skin damaged by superficial burns or more extensive burns.
Burns treatments can help to restore colour and life to our skin, using micro-pigmentation to camouflage burns, as well as blending the affected area with your surrounding skin using a range of pigments matched to your existing skin tones.
How will burns treatments help to improve the look of my skin?
Burns treatments can help to significantly improve the appearance of burns, using pigments to break up scar tissue and give your skin back its natural lustre.
For those women who have had skin grafts as part of their treatment for burns, micro-pigmentation can recreate the natural mosaic effect of your skin, working from centre of the graft to the outside edges, for completely natural look.
Although burns may have led to your skin losing its natural elasticity or sheen, burns treatments can help to give your skin a vibrant and healthier appearance.
Burns treatments: What does the treatment involve?
Burns treatment can normally be carried out once burnt skin has healed, or a year after any skin graft work.
